The left hand aileron cable crossed right over to the other side to join the right hand aileron. The the other half went to the control yoke via pulleys. This formed the loop so when one aileron went up, the other side went down, to form the perfect synchronised balance. We needed to ensure that when we adjusted the cables that the interconnect rod (image 3) was even on both sides.
