I painted the area of the top skin behind the windscreen. Sprayed using air sprayer, and gave it 2 coats.
Between coats I drilled and tapped the center bow of the canopy frame and attached the Sun Shade guide rail. Next the side panels were clecoed to the frame and it was placed back on the fuselage. The canopy was then monted to the frame with clecos.
After the second paint coat dried sufficiently I removed all of the masking tape and paper from the fuselage and took down my improvised paint booth. Then I mounted the windscreen using screws to attach it to the roll bar and using metal clips and pull rivets to secure the front edge.
