With the canopy and windscreen ready for final installation I needed to get the area of the top skin between the cockpit and the windscreen painted.
First the area was scuffed well with a Scoth-Brite pad and then wiped clean with a damp rag. Next the cut line was formed with masking tape, followed by further masking of parts with tape, paper, plastic and a sheet.
Next I set up my paint booth using a sun tent and plastic.
The primer coat was sprayed on and will dry for the night.
