Brief Description: Rivet front deck, throttle quadrant, run wires, fi
Today I completed riveting of the front deck structure.
Next I fabricated mounting brackets for the throttle quadrant from angle stock. It took several iterations before I had one I was happy with. 2 brackets were made and drilled to the quadrant and to the panel and subpane structure.
I reinstalled the seat back and used towels to simulate cushions and sat in the left seat to make sure I was satisfied with where things needed to go. At some point I will need to dummy up the instrument panel with pictures and install it to make sure it all looks good.
Next I drilled the pass-through holes for the throttle, mixture and prop controls. These get finished off with snap bushings.
Next I began running some of the wiring harnesses from the cabin back to the wings and rear.
