Completed fitting of the heater control to the firewall and drilled firewall. Holes deburred and control mounted with bolts.
Began assembly of battery box. Box was drilled to mounting brackets. Holes deburred and holes in box dimpled. I began countersinking the rivet holes in the mounting brackets but dulled my countersink about halfway through. The powdercoat steel is very hard and tough on cutting tools. A new countersink was ordered. Fabricated the doubler used for mounting the master and starter solenoids. Solenoids located on firewall and holes drilled and deburred. Doubler positioned and drilled to firewall holes. Platenuts drilled to firewall and doubler and firewall and reinforcement angles. Firewall deburred and dimpled and doubler countersunk. Doubler riveted to firewall and platenuts riveted to firewall/doubler.
