I completed threading of the falp pushrods. Then the flaps were temporarily attached to the wing. The fit was nearly perfect with the right flap needing no trimming to match and the left will need just a bit of filing to get the proper 1/4" fuselage to flap skip gap.
Most of the session was spent drilling and filing the holes in the fuselage for the pushrode. These turned out to be a lot bigger than I had initially thought so I worked my way up to an adequate size, connecting the pushrods periodically and cycling the flaps up and down to check clearances.
The flaps were checked for proper travel. They have right at 40 degrees of travel, as specified in the plans.
When I was happy with the pushrod exit holes I detached them and removed the flaps from the wings.
The left flap was filed after removal to provide the proper gap to the fuselage skin.
