Brief Description:  Right fuel tank assembly

Moved to the right tank assembly. First the inboard baffle angle was match drilled to spar and then platenuts riveted to the spar. Next the tank stiffeners were cut from angle and edges smoothed on the ginder, then clecoed and match drilled to skin. Next the tank ribs were all clecoed to the tank baffle and attach angles and match drilled. I used a 12" drill bit with a drill stop to provide easier access and to prevent accidental spar damage from the drill. Once drilled the ribs were removed for assembly to the tank skin using the cradle. This is a real wrestling match but persistence won out in the end and I got all ribs clecoed to the skin. The tank was then placed onto the spar and tank baffle and clecoed to both the spar and baffle. Everything aligned perfectly and the tank is now ready for match drilling and further preparation.
