Continued work on the left tank preparation. Match drilled all skin to rib and skin to baffle rivet holes. Set the countersink cage and countersunk the (many) skin to baffle rivet holes. Final drilled the skin to spar screw hols to proper size.
Then I started working on fabricating the tank attach angle from angle stock. I am not really satisfied with the result from my first try so I will make another, and think enough angle stock was supplied to have one test version.
Finally I reviewed all the remaining parts for the tanks. I am unable to locate the fuel cap flanges and can't find them on the packing list, so I will make a call to Van's tomorrow to inquire.
Lastly I gave the hangar a well needed vacuum as a lot of debris had accumulated on the floor from all the drilling and countersinking.
