I returned to baffle work today. As I have fitted the plenum and top cowl I decided it was time to assemble the baffles for good.
The left rear baffle was completed by cutting a hole for a cooling tube to the fuel pump, cutting the cut out for the ignition wire grommet plate, riveting the three rear baffle components and one side baffle component together and then installing on the engine with the prescribed hardware.
With the left rear baffle installed the oil cooler was bolted to the baffle and the lines run and attached to the engine.
The right rear baffle was completed by cutting a hole for the cooling tube to the mag, cutting the opening for the ignition wire grommet, riveting the cabin heat attachment, installing the grommet and then riveting the rear and side components together. The baffle was then installed on the engine using the prescribed hardware.
