Brief Description: Air induction alternate air door
Today I tightened one of the oil cooler fittings installed yesterday that I was unable to get a wrench on. To do so I had to remove both the prop governor and the right magneto. It would have been so simple to install before I mounted the engine!!
I continued work on the air inductio system. The base plate was marked and the hole cut for the alternate air door. The alternate air door was fabricated from sheet stock and we drilled to the hinge. Door, hinge and springs were assembled and the hinge then drilled to the base plate. I began fabrication of the actuator arm but need some more work to complete.
