Today I finally completed installation of the crop control cable. The rod end bearing was fitted to the governor with it off the engine, then the bcacket was installed, then the cable was fitted to the rod end bearing and bracket, then the governor was installed on the engine, and finally the end clevis was fitted to the calbe and attached to the quadrant arm. What a process that has been!! Use of the .050" conrol cable turned out to the be magic bullet.
The alternate air door was riveted, then I decided on a different actuator arm that increased the throw of the door so I drilled out those rivets and installed the new door.
