Today I continued work installing wing tip lights.
The fillet for the Nav/Strobe light on the left tip was sanded to flare into the tip.
Next I moved the blank plate to the right tip, drilled and screwed it into place and then mixed a batch of micosphere paste to form the fillet. I took the wingtip with lunch to me and it cured quickly in the hot truck cabin!!
Next I drilled the Landing/Taxi light template to the tips, then makred the opening. This was then rough cut with a Dremel and cut-off wheel, then shaped using the Dremel and sanding wheel.
