Brief Description:  Ailerons, left assembled

Completed deburring and dimpling of left aileron components. Riveted nose ribs to counterweight pipes using pull rivets. Clecoed leading edges skins to counterweight pipes. Form here on I worked on just the left aileron. Riveted the spar to the nose ribs. Clecoed the leading edge and aft skins to the top of the spar and the top of the nose ribs. Riveted the skins along the top of the spar using the rivet gun with a mushroom set and bucking bar on the inside. This was pretty close quarters but I figured out an easier way from the back as I nearly finished. Next the leading edge skin was riveted to the nose ribs along the top using the pneumatic squeezer. Then the main ribs were riveted to the top of the aft skin, also with the squeezer. Leading edge skin was riveted to counterbalance pipe using flush pull rivets.Main ribs wre riveted to the spar and aft skin bittom was riveted to the main ribs using the squeezer. Aileron attach brackets were bolted to the spar. All that is left to complete the left aileron is to rivet the skins to the bottom f the spar using flush pull rivets.
