Good afternoon for progress today, at least I thought so. I received the #10 screw dimple, so dimpled the counterwieght rib and riveted it to the spar. (Twice, one the wrong way, drill it out, then the right way.) Riveted the counterweight sklin and installed the counter weight. Clecoed the skins to the skeleton then riveted the top rib to the spar. Riveted the skin all around to the ribs and spar. I was very pleased with my progress and decided to wait to epoxy the trailing edge until next time since I had a Cinco de Mayo dinner to attend. I had plenty of time to do a good clean up and during that process noticed the 2 bottom attachment strips I failed to include as I riveted the bottom of the skin to the bottom rib. Arg!!!!!! Got to make myself slow down!!
So next visit I will drill out all the rivets along the bottom rib and re-rivet witht the attachment strips in place.
