- Fit the horizontal stab. Made the F798 shims and drilled in place w/ the foreward spar. Set a 3/16" drill bit under the aft spar to set incidence angle. Drilled the aft spar through the F711C bars. - Installed elevators and pinned at neutral. Permanently installed the F635 Bellcrank and spacer assembly and then installed the F790 elevator pushrod. Pushrod length was spot on for holding the F635 vertical. Removed pushrod and stored. - Fit the F781 vert stabilizer attach plate to horizontal stab front spar and clamped. Trimmed the VS front spar (VS702) as shown in DWG27A and clamped the VS front and rear spars to the aircraft. - Iteratively measured and adjusted VS until convinced it was vertical, and then drilled aft spar through F712D UP elevator stop. Finished by beginning measurement checks of VS hingeline and offset.
