Brief Description:  Leak Testing and Right Aileron Mounting

Did a new leak check of the right tank to see how well yesterday's repair job went. Everything appears to be sealed properly now. Water is a very sensitive manometer fluid, though, since it moves 2'3" per psi. I watched during the day as the ambient pressure rose and pushed the ambient side water column up and then down. At first I thought it was another leak. to rule out another leak, I duct-taped over the entire fuel filler cap and did a thorough soap bubble check of the whole tank again...nothing. Finally, I taped over the top of the open end of the manometer to try to eliminate the barometric effect. This appears to have stabilized the manometer. I'll know for sure in the morning. Also, I installed the rod ends and jam nuts on all four push rods. Penny helped me get the right wing onto the work bench. Then I drilled out the brass bushings for the bell crank using the drill press. Had to oil and quench them repeatedly to control the temperature. Installed the bell-crank and torqued to final specs. Next, I loosely attached the pushrods to the bellcrank w/ the bellcrank jig in place. Then I built the aileron neutral-position jig. Finally, with Penny's help again, I loosely mounted the aileron to the wing w/ all hardware and spacers in place and mounted the jig. I appear to be missing 1 An3-6 bolt...Hopefully, I can cannibalize one from the fuselage kit...
