Brief Description: Prepare Rt Fuel Tank Z-brackets
(1) Scotchbrited the edges of all 7 attach brackets as well as the tank stiffeners. (2) Used the drill press to #12 drill the 'centerline' hole for the bracket to spar attach point. Used this hole to screw the brackets onto the spar. (3) Back drilled remaining two spar-attach holes in each bracket using existing holes in spar as a template. Removed brackets and deburred. (4) For all but the inboard bracket, drilled holes for nutplates into the brackets and countersunk. For inboard bracket, countersunk existing nutplate holes on spar and alodined them. (5) Cleaned Z-brackets w/ dishwashing soap and scotchbrite pad. Rinsed and dried. Ready for priming.
