Brief Description:  Right Wing and Fuel Tank Work

(1) Fit the W-423 Joint Plate into place between the leading edge skin and W-408-1 Inboard rib. Very tight fit, just like the left wing. Tapped into place w/ rubber mallet and then match-drilled holes through plate and rib, using pre-punched skin as a guide. (2) Removed the bottom inboard skin. (3) Used the unibit to open up the tiedown hole in the bottom of leading edge skin. (4) Marked the centerlines of the T-712 attach angles. Actually, the inboard bracket was marked 1/16" away from the web and the others 1/16" toward the web so as to make bolting on the tank easier. (5) Clecoed together the fuel tank ribs to skin. Much easier than the left tank since I'd learned how not to do it before. This time I put clecoes in the top and bottom leading holes before placing assembly in cradle. Made it much easier to align the pinholes for the remaining clecoes.
