While waiting for my parts order to arrive from Van, I got busy on the fuel tank parts preparation. Nothing very exiting here except that I realize too late that I should’ve countersunk the nutplate holes in the zee brackets BEFORE separating the parts off. Well, I did goof on a couple of holes where the bit went too far deep, mostly due to the lack of tool support. No big deal there. The only real consequence is the rivets will be a bit deep within their hole. Since this isn’t structural, there is nothing to be concerned with.
