Brief Description: Right wing tip, fitting and tip light installation
Having bonded the rib in place in the right wing tip overnight, I found some additional bonding was necessary in places which were very carefully clamped to ensure the shape retained. I began marking and cutting the 8 reinforcing strips required, from .060 scrap alclad as per the left tip.
The strips were edged, deburred and trimmed to fit then prepped for primer. I found a handful of the necessary platenuts we were short of so I could finish up the left wing tip work that I paused waiting for platenuts.....still require a few more. Spent some time sourcing these locally.
