Brief Description:  R wing riveting

Today all my attention is focused on getting the right wing closed up so that it too can go to paint.
This is the last of the work to be carried out on this wing which will close the wings chapter and see me back on the fuz - gratefully!

I started by replacing the inbooard skin overlap with silly rivets working from the leading edge towards the trailing edge and staggered. I had previously riveted the skin on both ends working towards the middle so drilled out the tip end rivets too so I could peel the skin back to get my hand in with the bucking bar as on the left wing.. There were some dings and 'smileys' from my previous rivet work which I panelled out a bit and in one or two spots filled with a touch of epoxy filler.

I noticed one or two dings in the leading edge of the tank on this wing - inboard as per the left wing where something had dented it from the inside - I had sucsessfuly treated the ding in the left wing with a panel hammer and tiny taps then rubbed to leave almost no tracfe of it so did the same on these two, with good results.
