Brief Description: Rivet work R wing, loading of left wing and parts
The left wing was completed yesterday and is ready to go for paint along with a bunch of loose parts which were prepped and detailed accordingly too. I returned now to the right wing on the work table which requires a lot of rivets still to be drilled out for new silly rivets in the still open underside. I also secured and padded up with tape the aileron autopilot servo assembly which is prone to dmamge during riveting of that skin.
I final drilled to slightly oversize - as per instructions - the right wing tip attachment/screw holes which were already deburred but had to be drilled to allow adjustment of the tip for proper fit and alignment. The final hole size is #21.
In the afternoon we loaded up and secured the wing and the necessary parts including the aileron and flap as well as a bunch of misc parts for the trip to the painter.
