Brief Description: Fiberglass work (emp) and rudder stops
Started the finishing of the tips to the empennage by finalizing the matchdrilling and then with the tips in final position the necessary gaps and steps identified and marked and filler was added bit by bit, then sanded and more added and sanded again- over and over to get the shapes right and match the opposite tips to each other and to get a good finish of the tips to the metal empennage ends.
A laborious and slow process where I am learning a bit as I go since no detail is given on how to do this - only advice and by fiollowing what others have done has got me this far.
I also fabricated the rudder stops according to my drawings based on our fit, the stops will now need to be fitted to the fuselage tail end and adjusted for final rudder travel.
