Brief Description:  Piot final ass, finishing and fit. SP6 Tray bracke

After fabricating the parts forthe pitot and assembling the unit I final rivetd each toeach other in assembly and then sealed up and finished the back / inside and adjusted the tubes and wiring to fit in the wing space to meet the tubing and electrics to be made up by our electrician soon.

I then focused on the finishing of the unit by filling the gaps and shaping glass to blend the stem to the skin base. The result will be a very smooth blend of the pitot head to the stem and the stem to the wing with no steps or joints. A number of layers were added, shaped and then sanded then the whole thing primed and the imperfections filled and more blending and sanding.

Also removed and replaced the new SP6 unit tray attachment bracket, the previous was made and installed to fit the tray in it's previous location so at the least had to be moved buit I removed it and made up a more substantial bracket from AA6 stock and installed it for a very secure tray assembly.
All metal was removed from rivet heads etc and brass hardware was used.
