Brief Description: Fiberglass work and match drilled stops in place
Continued fiberglass work, riveted the left hand stab tip in final assembly after glueing a foam insert to keep it open and epoxy bonding the metal strips on the inside edges. I then began filluing this part to be flush with the stab metal by masking the metal line and building layer by layer, filler to get the plastic flush. This again took a lot of time and I carried on with the matching of the rudder to fin tips up on top during layer drying.
I also had to layer filler one at a time to build up the 6mm or so to match the top edges as well as the shaping the sides of the tips to match each other, These were also final drilled in place and are ready to be riveted but I will do so once I have a perfect match.
