Brief Description: Compas bracket, SP-7 new bracket and fit
in discussion we discovered a best method for removal of the SP-6 and 7 units for inevitable future maintanence which included securing a length of angle stock to the front of the 'tray' which is attached with two stainless screws and hardware to the tray flange, the units are fixed to the angle and so are removed when the angle is pulled away from the tray.
I completed this mod to the installation and it worked well. Also necessary was to final fit the units in the tray meaning I cut access holes for wiring and fittings and made a few improvements to the tray itself to make it more rigid and firmly fixed. It was discovered that the SP-7 unit neded to be installed closer to the Center of pitch and roll and yaw which puts it much closer to the spar - several options were discussed and I researched this and posted questions about it with photos.
