Brief Description:  finalised servo installation, compass bracket fitt

After having installed V.1.1 of the pitch servo mounting bracket I created I found a few weaknesses and that it required some more rigidity in the vertical and lateral planes, so I modified accordingly with angle material and bending a flange. The resultant bracket was installed in place and the servo secured to it with excellent rigidity and stiffness in all planes so that the servo will not move when actuating the bellcrank.

I also focused on finishing the remote compass units SP-7 and SP-B6 installation by adding the rubber lining, fitting the units and match-drilling the bracket to the longerons. I did find one or two areas of weakness and added a stiffener to resolve it. By the end of the day I had a perfect fit with the secured units properly lined up but would like to resolve a slight side to side play and perhaps add a bracket to secure it to the bulkhead to make an even more solid installtion.

I spent some time looking up hardware suitable and found an option in nylon and brass but need to discuss the best method to ensure easy removal and re-installation for maintenence in the future, should that be necessary.
