Today I spent most of the day fitting and checking my cut lines for the big cut of the canopy bubble. I measured and clamped and checked a few times with all assemblies in place to be sure of my cut line. When I was certain I masked around all the edges to be cut.
The canopy was cut with the grinder and went quite easily.
Once cut it was fitted and no trimming was necessary as it was a perfect fit and a perfect cut. Spent a lot of time shaving and polishing the edges which were exceptionally sharp and could cause damage and create a stress riser where the bubble would crack.
