Brief Description:  Supplies, bubble trimmed and polishing

Was on the road til midday shopping supplies in the form of some plastics, general supplies and masking vinyl. Continued the canopy bubble trimming until all the edges were trimmed twice right up to the line then the edges had to be polished and edged to prevent stress risers and cracking in this cold weather as instructed.

With the supplies I started making up masking strips from the vinyl roll to protect the exposed edges of the bubble in final fitting and subsequent handling.
With the engineering plastic or UHMW offcuts I started cutting the shims and sliders I needed first was to make up the lining for the canopy latch bracket. This I made by slicing the blocks with the cutting wheel in the drill press, got thin slices just over 1.3mm thick which is great, will trim and fit tomorrow.
