Brief Description:  Continued checking of the brake system and repair

Continued checking the brake system for leaks this morning. Once iden tified I began correcting each point, first by simply tighteneing or sealing the unions, but if that didn't work I would strip the union, cut the line shorter then re-flare, and couple to the opposite end. Sometimes both ends needed redoing. After several 'repairs' I was still not getting 100% aflow so I pushed some lightly colored water through which was very effective in showing up the problems and in the end helped me determine to strip the old brake lines and redo/replace them alltogether.
With the left and right lines stripped I used the original lines as templates to make up the new lines from leftover stock of 1/4 solid tubing. Once bent into shape I fitted and then removed and adjusted until I got both lines fitting snuggly under the left and right bottom edge longerons respectively and then replaced the adel clamps (cleco'd in place), polyethylene tubing sleeves in the critical areas to prevent chaffing and then re fitted the unions.
