As noted previously, we had some trouble with two of the heads. Two replacement were tried to no avail. We had already had the two damaged heads repaired. A lot time waqs spend grinding the valve seats to have the valve seat properly. Then we assembled the heads to the cylinders. All went well until we started putting the push rod sleeves and heads on the cylinders. Seems that we forgot that the cylinders only fit on the block one way that allow the push rod sleeves to fit properly. We removed the three cylinders that were installed 180 deg. out of position and reinstalled them correctly. Then all of the rod sleeves fit as they should.
A lot of work, but it is going together nicely. Next week, maybe we will finish the engine and be ready to put on the test stand.
