Brief Description: New Deflection Lips Fabricated And Installed
Completed the installation of both exhaust tunnel 30 degree airflow deflection lips.
Cut second deflection lip piece and performed any final trimming for proper width to fit into the tunnel.
Completed deburring/dressing of all edges.
Drilled and deburred all holes.
Fit both lips into position and clecoed in plae. Verified 30 degree angle was correct, then clecoed interior side tabs into place. Marked the lip pieces for side tab overhang past tunnel interior edges and trimmed the interior lip tabs to be flush with tunnel interior sides.
Marked and drilled two interior locking rivet holes on each lip side tab.
Updrilled all holes from #40 to #40 sized holes for final rivetting, then rivetted both lips into final position, completing the tunnel installations.
Checking the 30 degree spec for the exhaust tunnel deflection lip installation.
Overlapping edges of exhaust tunnel and deflection lip sides cleco clamped into place for drilling.
Final installation of the exhaust tunnels with 30 degree airflow deflection lips.
