Brief Description: Pulled the tanks again and cleaned up!
I pulled the main tank again to work on the strap lengths. I'm not sure if it's because my tank has a bit of a bowl around the filler cap, or if I have it placed too low in the wing, but I don't feel the filler neck is sticking up enough through the wing. I fear if it is lower or even with the surrounding collar it may be more prone to collecting water. I altered the straps a bit and will order longer tensioner screws for the top two straps to allow the tank to seat higher in the wing. I also realized that the higher the tank the better for fuel transfer lines (gravity) coming out of the wing and into the fuselage. Any up travel here will take away from useable fuel!! Also cleaned up and re-organized my tools and parts...again. It seems that I can make it about 2 weeks before I can't find anything again!
