Brief Description: Grinded and grinded and welded float fittings
And grinded, and grinded. The float fittings appear to be made to fit the tubing before all of the welding is built up in this station. Rather than grinding the fuselage, I grinded the fittings to remove steel that has weld in place of where it would fit. The first one went on great. Then the second one went on pretty good. Then I flipped the plane upside down and compared the symmetry of the two. The second set is roled to the outside just a little more than the other. Hmmmm, redo or don't redo. Go home and decide tomorrow when you're not tired!
