Today I started with a call to the insurance man and started my insurance and bought into the gas program at the airport for a 50 cent discount on fuel for $125 /year, then had them put 5 gal of fuel in each wing then I checked the EIS and EFIS for fuel. Les helped on this as I had program errors on both. After everything else looked ok I started the electric fuel pump and checked for leaks and found that I had not tightened the flex hose from the gasculator to engine pump so tighened that then tried the primer line and no leaks there. Then I started the engine for the first time since I built it and it started after a few tries, checked the idle and Les adjusted it down to 690 RPM, ran it to full throttle for a few minutes and only got to 2190 RPM and after talking to Brad who has the same setup thats all he got. Have several other problems also which I'll be working on. Switch for mag that I added may be wired wrong or may not need (no rpm indicated when in center position and left mag reads right), no EFIS graffics for CHT, and Nav problem on EFIS, no indication on 430 nav or ID which may work fine in the air, but overall the engine and controls seem ok.
