Took 1st long xcountry flight with my wife to Logan, Ut. We left KFNL and was in Logan, Ut 2.4 hrs later. We had a 2 place oxygen tank on board and flew at 16500 out and 15500 back which was no problem for my engine. This RV7 always seems to amaze me and the flight was mostly smooth alll the way. The only problem was are noses started to sting a little untill we figured out we had the flow set way too high and we had to fill the tank at Logan for $20. We rented a car and visited Salt Lake and the the Air Museum in Ogden and was treated to a great car show that was on there as well. On the trip back the weather got us about 30 mi from Ft Collins so we flew to our alternate in Larimie, Wy and had to rent a car and go back the next day to pick up the plane, a low level up slope had the front range down below minimums
