My order for the switch kit arrived today from Vans, also received the tail wheel pivot spring which is a replacement for the one I lost in the hanger somewhere and I installed it. Since I was planning on putting a ready made switch panel in I had already cut an opening for it in the panel and after receiving the wiring harness in the firewall forward kit I found it would be easier and cheaper to install the switch kit since the wiring harness was made for that. I cut a larger opening in the panel and made another panel from AS .063 to hold the switches and I installed nutplates to that so I can remove the whole thing easily if I have to work on it later. Ialso had to buy a 15/32" drill bit for mounting the switches/breakers
