more filing and fitting, tried to use a heat gun to reformed curled portions but not working well, cut 1/8 " hinge for top at firewall to 29" as I am varing from van's plans here after seeng John's cowl. beveled loops in hing for cowl side for better fit. Drilled and clecoed angle to hold top cowl on while measuring and trimming
