With help from Les, we clamped the canopy down to the frame after putting masking tape on the frame to give us a clear line to the 4130 tube for drilling. Decided to use a regular #40 bit and dispite the horror stories of cracking the canopy it worked well on about 20# and slow on the air drill. This was done mounted to the fuselage rather than on the bench. After starting from the top center and alternating per plans we finished the center and front and then removed the canopy from the frame, back drilled the C653 top strip then deburred the plastic holes with a deburing tool in my electic varible drill on slow speed.
