Brief Description:  Rigging Continued

Much time has transpired since I last updated this log. I have dis-assembled the airframe from the stage it was last reported on in August. All Flying and Landing wires have now been assembled and test installed. The "N" Struts have been assembled and installed. The Angle of Incidence and Dihedral have been accuractly set and verified by two AP/IA friends of mine. The Elevator push rod has been installed and accurately set. The Torque Tubes for the Ailerons have been assembled and installed in the Fuse - mated to the Wing torque tubes. They need only a final bolt in each to install them in the finished Airframe. The Rudder horn, cables and tailwheel connections have been assembled and installed. All was then dis-assembled so final details could be accomplished inside the Fuse with out the Wings in the way. Phot's below confirm and explain some of these steps. I work on the AC daily when time permits. I intend to change out the tail wheel from the Fisher supplied 'Castor" to a Matco tail wheel from Aircraft Spruce. All of the cables for the Rudder and tail wheel feed between UHMW Nylon (or whatever it's made of) guide blocks attached to the Fuse frame on both sides instead of the plywood ones in the kit. The edge of one of these can be seen in the 3rd photo.
