Brief Description:  Fin and Panel

Again a consolidation of several part days efforts accomplished between other chores. I was uncomfortable with the open space that will need to be bridged by fabric on the fin over the top of the Horizonal Stablizer so I decided to fill it in with some support material. Not wishing to add excess weight I have some 1/2" Balsa left over from my Grandson RC Model building days and used it to create that support. Picture 1 and 2 below show that effort.

In addition I have long held a very stong belief in the Angle of Attack Instruments sometimes called Lift Reserve Instrument. I flew in the Van's RV-10 with Ken Scott and he pointed theirs out to me and demonstated it's use. I've read some articles on them and know I want one in any plane I own. I've acquired parts from another builder for less than $100 and fitted that LRI Insturment into my panel as the 1st resident of that panel...where it belongs...top and center for clear instant view. Location for it is seen in Pic #3....I've also painted the top of that panel "box" with White Paint.
