Brief Description: Wing - Lower left fabric covering/fuse paint chang
Began to cover the left bottom Wing. Debated a long time about installing tubes for AOA and Pitot/Static in this Wing before covering. Decided I wanted to install all of them in the top left Wing and will do that Wing last. Covered the bottom surface Image 1 1st day - after covering the Aileron Bay area and the root inner surface area first. Covered the top Wing area next day. Measured for wing rib stiches and marked top and bottom fabric for stiches then installed re-enforcement tape on the top of the Wing Ribs. Wing is now ready to be rib stiched.
Will stich, then tape and prime before moving to Rt Low Wing next.
Did not like the look of my paint scheme on the fuselage so I sanded part of it back down and painted the center part Black (was white with a black stripe 1/4" seperating the two swipes. I simply filled in the center band black and like it much better.
At the same time (since I had the paint out and mixed) I sanded down the black trim on the Elevator and Horizional Stab, taped them off and re-shot them to get a smoother and better finish. Image #3 below shows change in Fuse scheme. Did not photo Tail Feathers as there is no change - just better look.
