Continue to work on the Cockpit forward Fuselage floor. Fitted the bottom center brace and both Extruded Longerongs to that blank. Fitted and added the Pedal support plate. Although I have not yet built my Rudder Pedals I see no reason why I couldn't use the tube that forms the bottom pivot bar of those pedals and fit the support fittings that attach those pedals to the floor - so I proceded with those attachment placements.
The next part to intall on the forward fuselage floor - after I join the rear fuse and the front floor will be the Center Wing Spar. But before I do that I occurs to me that I'll not have a time beyond this that I can fit the Wing Spars to the Center Spar flat on the Bench and work on it. Realizing too that I had not yet reamed the holes that join the wing spars and the center spar together to their final size I decided that now with the time to do that procdedure.... so I seperatly fitted each wing spar back up with the center spar and drilled and reamed all 12 holes to their final size in the Center Spar and Wing Spars together. I also made 9" long smooth pins with tapered ends (5/16" rod) that I'll use to position those parts and guide the holes together when they are mated without having to push in bolts with threads to catch on the holes until they are aligned. It'll be far easier I think to then slide the bolts in while pushing out the pins in the final assembly phases.
