Spent 5 hours over the week-end and today making Fuslage Parts. Several of them are gussets that will be used in the seat area and panel. All serve in the Cockpit area. There were several channels the needed making as well. I enjoyed the process and the labor. The results are satisfying and my skill level has gone up a bunch from March when I first started making parts. The "Dave's Brake" has become dependable friend and servant...there was a learning curve on how to use it too. Interestingly...almost all of the parts I made over the week-end - with the exception of the big ones - are made from material I had sorted and marked as I went along and put in my "usable scrap" pile. So a lot more of my early mistakes now serve a different role and a very useful one. The material didn't know it had been a mistake and the part it made doesn't either. All in all a couple of good days. Need to move the Rear Fuselage to bars and saw bucks next - then level and confirm square all over in this set-up.
