Installed new bearing on generator shaft. Kurt pressed it too far on to shaft and so far we can't get it back. In addition, the new bearing wobbles in the old housing. Not good.
Opened the mags, found a lot of caked up grease. This will need to be carefully cleaned out and replaced. Otherwase, the insides look good. No corrosion. Downloaded the Bendix S20 series magneto repair manual onto the iPad.
Sam primed parts for me, including the generator housings.
