Brief Description: Air filter, muffler bracket, generator bearing.
Found old air filter in box in my shop. It's in rough shape. (BTW, it had been installed backwards so air flow was in wrong direction.) Options are to either try to clean and rejuvenate it, or replace with a new Brackett filter with replaceable element for $57 from Spruce. Ordered from Spruce. Located correct size tubing for muffler bracket repair in stock room. Cut a peice, and drilled hole in original for rosette weld. Bill will do that for us. Sam finished stripping the cowl top and bottom, and I moved those pieces down to my hangar. They will require some cosmetic repair with fiberglass filler before painting. Took jury struts down to the FBO and Sam stripped them. Left them in the paint room for priming.
Spent quite a bit of time looking for replacement bearing for the generator. I have Jason at Fastenal looking, no joy yet. May have to fabricate a new sleeve to fit a slightly smaller OD bearing.Taped up outer housing and left for priming.
