Charged battery (Master had been left on by some dummy.) Located oil seepage around oil screen, tightened and re-safetied. Purchased new crush gaskets for screen and quick drain for first oil change. Removed transponder and checked mounting and electrical continuity of antenna. Installed two inspection covers over gear box. Shorted generator field terminal to ground and ran up engine to confirm good generator output. Removed regulator, inspected visually, and checked all contacts and air gaps. Researched regulator repair/replacement options. Researched transponder repair/replacement options. Took regulator home for bench testing.
