Spent a couple hours at the airport in afternoon. Did more sanding on the panel and interior where paint will go. Fished loose screw out from under floor. Tried 3 1/8" hole saw on piece of scrap metal same as panel with good results. Sanded off piece of material with old grey finish and painted with textured paint without primer as an experiment. Went to ACE and bought a new can of the textured paint and a primer to go with it. Sanded the two spots on the fuselage where I applied filler the other day. Removed door latch plates and sandblasted.
