Brief Description:  Paint choices, antennas, voltage regulator.

Jeanne and I looked at the paint color on Cliff's 170 and my RV. We decided on Insignia Blue for the trim color. It is very close to Cliff's color which we like. We also decided on a flat black instrument panel, and to use the same Glacier White exterior paint on the other small sections of interior metal to be painted. Later I ordered the white and blue paint, reducer, and flattener.

Jeanne and I discussed the floating panel layout but did not make a final decision.

We installed and tightened the transponder and COM antennas. We replaced the corroded mounting hardware on the NAV antenna.

We removed the voltage regulator for cleaning and renovation. Removed deteriorated shock mpounts and rusty connection screws.

We rerouted the tail light wire to follow the battery wire under the floor, and added a #20 wire for future use.

In the evening I looked the voltage regulator over carefully and downloaded a service manual on it. Need a rounded file for the contact points.
