During the past week work concentrated on making wooden forms to use in fabricating new gear box bulkheaasds, and starting metal work on various partrs to be repaired or replaced. At the wednesday evening work session Jeanne and I removed rivet shanks from a lot of the metal parts previously removed from the airplane. Bill worked on design and fabrication of repair parts for bottom of doorpost area.
Yesterday (Thursday) I recieved the coarse grit sanding disk we had ordered and started final contouring of the wooden bulkhead forms. I also completed the removal of small parts from the foot-well floors and began to prepare for fabricating replacements.
